Join us to discover The History of Caribbean as seen through the Eyes of Pirates and Rum bottles: two defining Caribbean Cultural aspects with Colin Woodard, Fred Smith and Patrick Costigan.
Colin Woodard, Author of The Republic of Pirates, Graham Arader, World’s Authority on Antique Maps of the Americas and Caribbean, Fred Smith, Professor of Anthropology at William & Mary, Author of Caribbean Rum, A Social and Economic History, Patrick Costigan, Rum Expert working at New York City’s Award Winning Restaurant CRU.
Learn about the history of the Caribbean through Rum bottles and Pirates; Be in conversation with experts having studied the “Golden Age of Piracy,” a romanticized era of swords and sails, and characters such as Calico Jack, Anne Bonny, Captain Henry Morgan, and infamous shipwrecks such as Blackbeard’s Queen Anne’s Revenge. Our rum experts will take you on a historical journey through the Caribbean by way of spices and magical mixtures while sharing their expertise from having written about Rum for over 10 years and have tasted over 300 varieties of this potent potable.
On Sunday, join us for an all species fishing tournament with categories in fly, reef and deepwater fishing.

Join us to discover The History of Caribbean Jazz and Food: two defining Caribbean Cultural aspects with Wycliffe Gordon and Dion Parson.
Learn about the history of the Caribbean through the steelpan, bass, and ripsaw with experts having led Jazz seminars at Lincoln Center and played with the likes of Dizzy Gillespie and Wynton Marsalis.
A fun-filled weekend of booming beats and smooth treats all related back to their mother land, the Caribbean.
